Talk about the popularity of webtoons.

Webtoons are comics that are published online. They are enjoying explosive popularity these days. Demand for webtoons is even higher than for traditional comic books. People are accustomed to computers and mobile devices. They are comfortable reading comics on screens. This is how webtoons became widespread. The most sought-after webtoon authors have hundreds of thousands of fans. Top webtoons are adapted into TV shows or even movies. Some are translated in multiple languages. Nowadays, there are private academies that teach how to become a webtoon cartoonist. There are even colleges with in-depth courses on webtoons. Webtoons are not a passing fad. I think they will only grow in popularity.

웹툰의 인기에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

웹툰은 온라인으로 출판되는 만화다. 요즘 폭발적인 인기를 구가하고 있다. 웹툰에 대한 수요는 전통적인 만화책의 수요를 능가한다. 사람들은 컴퓨터와 휴대용 기기에 익숙해져 있다. 화면으로 만화를 봐도 불편함이 없다. 이렇게 웹툰이 보편화됐다. 가장 인기 있는 웹툰 작가들은 수십만 명의 팬이 있다. 인기 웹툰은 TV 프로그램이나 심지어 영화로도 각색된다. 일부는 다수의 외국어로도 번역된다. 요즘은 웹툰 만화가가 되는 방법을 가르치는 사설 학원도 있다. 심지어 웹툰에 대한 심화 과정이 있는 대학교도 있다. 웹툰은 지나가는 유행이 아니다. 앞으로 더욱 인기가 높아질 것이라고 생각한다.
